| You Are An INTP | The Thinker
You are analytical and logical - and on a quest to learn everything you can. Smart and complex, you always love a new intellectual challenge. Your biggest pet peeve is people who slow you down with trivial chit chat. A quiet maverick, you tend to ignore rules and authority whenever you feel like it.
In love, you are an easy person to fall for. But you're not an easy person to stay in love with. Although you are quite flexible, you often come off as aloof or argumentative.
At work, you are both a logical and creative thinker. You are great at solving problems. You would make an excellent mathematician, programmer, or professor.
How you see yourself: Creative, fair, and tough-minded
When other people don't get you, they see you as: arrogant, cold, and robotic |

Now I don't know how many flies you see around the house with human heads, or brother-in-laws, for that matter. But we were playing this scene, looking at the fly saying, "should we kill it? Should we save it?" and we could never quite get the lines out, because every time that little voice of the fly would say, "help me. Please, help me," we would just scream with laughter. | Brocade Fabrics |
[Jun. 10th, 2007|03:30 pm] |
Hi all, I'm looking to get hold of Brocade fabrics for coats, waistcoats, corsets and dresses, but I am having a hard time finding good period brocades. I live in Australia so my walk-in shops are really limited as are national online fabric houses. Does anyone have any good links to websites that sell Brocades? I'm not looking for oriental patterns, which seem to be in great abundance.
Thanks for any help you can give :) |

Apparently someone decided to attack little Belladonna a couple of nights back. Grrr. Like big Grrr. Fortunately she's alright - the fact that they have taken her boots for evidence kinda tells its own story. Hah. Can the Brisbanites make sure she doesn't walk home on her own again please. And if you happen to find out who it was, kindly place them in the local oubliette until I get there. Just not funny at all.
I was going to post about something completely different, but that seems to have reduced almost everything else to insignificance. |

 | You scored as Dante Alighieri. According to you most of humanity will spend at least some of their afterlife in hell. You have a high likelihood of being exiled, but anyone as bloody fucking romantic as you deserves what they get. You have an exceptional moral code, overshadowed by the fact that you yourself cannot uphold it.
Your existence bears a definite irony, although of fairly Christian morality, many pagans, satanists, communists, and intellectuals admire you and your works for all the wrong reasons.
Also, the brighest star in your sky is never going to be your lover...
It takes a lot of grief to be the cartographer of hell.

At least, never in a good way. I know who I blame for my curse, may the devil torture his soul for all eternity.
I am going back. As soon as I rummage up the funds for a ticket, I'm gone. I don't have a choice in this - no, seriously I don't. I really wish there was another way, but there isn't.
And yes, those that I have so far failed to catch-up with, I will get to you before I go.

Been years for me, but I got one today. What is so damn special about it? Lots actually, but that's not the point. What I mean is, why does recieving a hand-written letter mean so much these days? Because it takes more effort and time? More thought? I dunno... theories please.
And very shortly I am off to play with the InsanitoriuM crew. W00t! Should be fun indeed. No idea when I'll be back, so take care y'all. |

| [ | Mental State |
| | Perpexulated | ] | Two scenarios.
1) A run-away trolly is hurtling down a rail track. In it's path are 5 people, who are trapped and will be killed by the speeding trolly. Next to you is a switch - flipping the switch will divert the trolly down a side track, where there is only one person trapped. What do you do? Do nothing and 5 people are killed by the trolly, or flip the switch saving 5 people, but killing the sixth.
2) Same trolly, heading toward the same 5 people, but this time there is no switch to change the track. Instead, you are on a foot bridge over the track. Infront of you is a large man. Should you choose to push him off, he will land on the track and make the trolly crash, killing him, but saving the trapped five people. Do nothing and the five people die. Push the man from the bridge and he dies by your hand, but the five people are saved.
Do you do the same thing in both scenarios? Why? |
